Here is a wonderful front page write-up of Tracey in the internal newsletter of the Minneapolis StarTribune newspaper, honoring her for outstanding service; it mentions her love of the movie, "The Wizard of OZ," and her unique association with the superstar, Prince:
Back in the 1960's my dad went on "ride-alongs" with a friend who was a Minneapolis police officer. I told my dad I wanted to go on a ride-along but he said I was too young. Thirty years later I was finally old enough.

One of my mom's favorite movies was the 1942 comedy, "The Man Who Came To Dinner," starring Bette Davis, Ann Sheridan and Monty Woolley.
The story line is: "When acerbic critic Sheridan Whiteside slips on the front steps of a provincial Ohio businessman's home and breaks his hip, he and his entourage take over the home indefinitely."
Although the circumstances are not quite the same, the premise of this story is.
And, although Paul does not come out smelling like a rose either, I have forgiven both Paul and Larry and can laugh about the experience now.
